MaryAnn, Black Lab/chow puppy, IL

“MaryAnn is a sweet and gentle nine-month-old Black Labrador Retriever-Chow Mix puppy who was taken in by the Animal House Shelter after she was found abandoned with her six littermates Skipper, Ginger, Gilligan, Berdel, Leo and Grace. MaryAnn will walk right up to you and give gentle kisses with her cute little black tongue.

MaryAnn is fun when walking on leash and cuddly when you get back inside. Some of her littermates have pointy ears and are a little more shy. They are all healthy, spayed and neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and micro-chipped.

I was interested in out of state adoption, is this possible?

Answer: There are lots of shelters in NY state  which have gorgeous chows from time to time. NYC Manhattan often has chows.  The best thing to do is to search http://petharbor.com  — current shelter listings by state, zip, breed, shelter etc. You may also wish to search http://petfinder.com and again, you may search by breed, size, state, zip, and by shelter
